Elizabeth Davies was born in Bangor, Gwynedd, Wales and arrived in Queensland around 1859. She married Robert Owens on 10 September 1864 and the couple went on to have 11 children together. Elizabeth died at Moggill on 10 February 1899 and is buried in the Moggill Historic Cemetery, Moggill, Brisbane, Qld, Australia.
